About The Position

This role is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all tennis facilities on the property. This includes daily court maintenance, event preparation, general cleaning, and equipment upkeep. The position also requires assisting with other recreational facilities during slower periods or when short-staffed.

Requirements

Must have a current valid driver's license.
Knowledgeable with tools used around plumbing and carpentry.
Knows how to swim and how to be safe around water.
Must be able to lift up to 80lbs.
Must be able to have a flexible schedule.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or job-related experience preferred.
Good communication skills to offer directions to guests.

Responsibilities

Drag needles off clay courts, rake needles and leaves into a trash bag.
Water courts daily based on weather and temperature.
Roll courts.
Clean court lines.
Clean net tapes weekly.
Assist in preparing for events and functions at all tennis facilities.
Empty trash from courts.
Collect and store left/lost items.
Clean chairs and benches.
Check the timer for watering.
Clean out the garage regularly.
Report any mechanical or structural issues with facilities to the tennis department (Director of Tennis or Supervisor) in a timely manner.
Follow the grooming schedule procedure according to the season and as directed by the Director of Tennis or Supervisor.
Be available to help at pickleball and basketball courts during slow times, events, or when short-staffed.
Check tires on the tennis cart roller.
Check water levels on the tennis cart roller per schedule.
Keep brushes up, brush brushes and roller clean after use, and sweep the area afterward.
Keep the roller in good working condition and clean as needed.
Keep the leaf blower in good operating condition and clean often.
Use earplugs when operating the leaf blower.
Use the proper gas/oil mix for the leaf blower and keep the container filled.
Blow, broom, and dustpan walks and parking lot as needed.
Keep trash covers and holders clean.
Remove trash from cans as needed.
Pressure wash walks as needed.
Pressure wash hard courts as needed.
Hang and clean windscreens as needed.
Clean water fountains/coolers.
Clean shade structures.
Use firepower on ant hills.
