Maintenance Trainee | Concord
About The Position
Morgan Properties is offering a full-time paid training program to help individuals start a career in apartment maintenance. No prior experience is required; the program is designed for dependable individuals who are ready to learn and enjoy hands-on work. The training program lasts 3 to 6 months and progresses through three levels: Beginner (safety, tools, basic tasks), Intermediate (more repairs, less supervision), and Advanced (complex work, ready for a permanent role). Upon successful completion and permanent placement, trainees will transition to a permanent Maintenance Technician role.

Responsibilities
- Learn and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Undertake more complex repairs with less supervision as skills develop.
- Handle complex work and prepare for a permanent role.
- Learn HVAC basics.
- Learn plumbing basics.
- Learn electrical basics.
- Learn appliance repair.
- Learn apartment turns.
- Learn groundskeeping.
- Learn preventative maintenance.
- Develop customer service skills.
- Adhere to safety procedures.
- Travel to nearby sister properties for training.
