About The Position

Morgan Properties is offering a full-time paid training program to help individuals start a career in apartment maintenance. This program, known as the Fix It Forward Program, requires no prior experience and is designed for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are eager to learn. The training lasts 3 to 6 months and progresses through three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, with pay raises at each stage. Upon successful completion, trainees transition to a permanent Maintenance Technician role.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Learn safety procedures
• Learn to use tools and perform basic tasks
• Perform repairs with decreasing supervision
• Handle complex work as skills advance
• Travel to nearby sister properties for training
• Provide customer service
• Perform HVAC basics
• Perform plumbing basics
• Perform electrical basics
• Perform appliance repair
• Complete apartment turns
• Engage in groundskeeping
• Conduct preventative maintenance
