Under the direction and training of a Maintenance PM Technician, this role assists with scheduling and conducting PM inspections for all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, as well as gas-fired boilers and furnaces. The trainee will develop and optimize PM and TPM checklists, coordinate with various departments for scheduling, perform inspections, and identify deficiencies. This position also involves training others on TPM procedures and Nexgen service requests, auditing TPM checks, and ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements. The trainee will advise operators on procedures, inform management of potential mechanical problems and dangers, and perform other maintenance technician responsibilities as required. A key objective is to achieve the Maintenance PM Technician role within 24 months.
