About The Position

Under the direction and training of Maintenance PM Technician, assists with the following responsibilities to schedule and conduct PM inspections for all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment, and gas fired boiler and furnaces.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must pass Ramsay Mechanical Reasoning Assessment.
  • Must have two or more years production experience within one of Eupora’s value streams preferred with an exemplary record for the following: attendance, safety, quality and job performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Some community college level courses in Maintenance Technology or related program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and optimizes PM (preventative maintenance) checklists.
  • Works with various departments for scheduling PM inspections.
  • Performs PM inspections.
  • Performs visual inspections to detect deficiencies and helps coordinate resolution.
  • Develops and optimizes TPM checklists.
  • Trains others to perform TPM checklists and regularly follows up to ensure training effectives.
  • Trains other to enter Nexgen service requests for TPM findings.
  • Audits TPM checks being performed by others.
  • Works in compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Advises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and informs management of potential mechanical problems and inherent dangers.
  • Performs other duties as required, including maintenance technician responsibilities.
  • Must achieve Maintenance PM Technician Trainee within 24 months.
  • Models Plymouth Tube values and behaviors as outlined in the Mission Statement.
  • Represents Plymouth Tube in a professional manner.
  • Follows all company Environmental and Safety policies, procedures and standards.
  • Follows all company Quality Standards.
