About The Position
The maintenance trainee is someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn and grow within the industrial maintenance industry. This role involves off-season responsibilities such as tear down and preventative plant maintenance of evaporators, aseptic systems, and the front-end area of the plant. During the in-season period, the trainee will take on a supervisor role, leading crews in their assigned area. The operation runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the tomato processing season.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be willing to work overtime, double-time, and holidays during tomato season.
- Must be willing to work night shift.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of evaporators or aseptic systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Tear down and preventative plant maintenance of evaporators, aseptic systems, and the front-end area of the plant during the off-season.
- Supervise crews in the assigned area of the plant during the tomato processing season.
- Ensure company policies and regulations are followed at all times.
