About The Position
Vishay Tansitor is seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift. Vishay manufactures one of the world's largest portfolios of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components that are essential to innovative designs in the automotive, industrial, computing, consumer, telecommunications, military, aerospace, and medical markets. Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2-4 years related experience
- Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with Supervisor, oversees group in ensuring daily work schedule is met and completes related paperwork.
- Operates appropriate equipment in performing functions related to specific production area.
- May train newer employees.
- Assists in setting up work stations.
- Follows written or verbal process specifications in completing all assignments.
- May recommend modifications to assignments/tasks.
