About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is an integral member of The Dhanani Group’s Facilities and Maintenance Team, serving the Austin area. The role is responsible for maintaining facilities and handling repairs to company machinery, equipment, and appliances. The technician performs basic upkeep, identifies and reports major repair needs, checks locations for mechanical failures or breakdowns, and responds to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience with tile and flooring, carpentry, light plumbing, painting building exteriors, and minor electrical work.
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Drywall experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks, including painting, filling crevices, cleaning facilities, and managing repairs.
• Repair company machinery, equipment, and appliances.
• Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Regularly check locations for mechanical failures or breakdowns.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
