About The Position

Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC), an award-winning luxury multifamily and HOA management company, is seeking a dependable, service-oriented Maintenance Technician for a luxury condominium community in Downtown Austin’s Market District. The role supports day-to-day maintenance operations and helps keep common areas and residential units functioning smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Chief Building Engineer. This is a full-time position with flexible mornings, paying $24–$26 per hour. The role requires willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.

Requirements

General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
HVAC experience required.
Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.
Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in residential facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
Handle light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
Assist with HVAC-related tasks, including filter replacement and basic inspections.
Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
Provide backup support to the Chief Building Engineer when required.
