Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • At least three years of experience in facility maintenance, painting, or carpentry.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repairs, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Experience with minor electrical repairs.
  • Comfortable working physically through various tasks—lifting 80-100 lbs., climbing ladders, and using machinery.
  • Highly organized.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of the use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to understand mechanical systems.
  • Physical ability to work with machinery and basic construction and farming equipment.
  • Requires sitting, standing, walking, the use of ladders and kneeling for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, bending, leaning, stooping.
  • Physical ability to lift 80-100 lbs. safely and operate various motorized equipment necessary to perform the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, painting, carpentry or related field.
  • Good working knowledge of building maintenance and facility equipment repairs to include but not limited to basic HVAC, plumbing, operating heavy equipment, minor electrical repairs; and the knowledge to maintain building code and operational compliance.
  • Strong background in painting and general repairs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold and enhance camp properties.
  • Perform minor electrical work.
  • Painting and roofing tasks.
  • Ensure equipment and grounds are in top-notch condition.
  • Adhere to safety standards while working on construction projects and repairs.
  • Assist with farming and tree harvesting.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
