About The Position

Atrium Management Company is seeking an exceptional Maintenance Technician for Aston Square Luxury Apartments. This is a hands-on role focused on maintenance, teamwork, and high-quality service. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing service requests, emergency calls, move-in needs, and property tasks. The role reports to the Property Manager and requires availability for on-call rotation. Team members are also responsible for assisting residents, delivering exceptional customer service, and prioritizing teamwork.

Requirements

  • HVAC certification is required (EPA Universal, CPO certification and REAC inspection experience preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to be available for rotating on-call shifts (this will include evenings and weekends)
  • Basic computer skills, including email and some Microsoft products

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the completion of all service requests
  • Inspect community continuously, recording and correcting deficiencies
  • Order necessary supplies and parts within budgetary guidelines
  • Perform all general and routine maintenance in the community
  • Ensure that all keys are kept properly
  • Replace filters and clean air conditioning vents in vacant apartments and occupied units on an as-needed basis
  • Perform HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, minor drywall repairs and other interior repairs daily
  • Service requests made by residents should be completed within 24 hours
  • Handle "on call" duties whenever needed; will carry a cell phone on a regular basis
  • Replace breezeway light bulbs as needed
  • Assist with apartment make-readies (includes painting, repairs, cleaning, wall/sheetrock repair, lock changes, etc.)
  • Order supplies; communicate and coordinate with vendors
  • Assist in the distribution of flyers and other materials
  • Assist in picking up litter & maintain small amount of grounds
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Keep inventory
