Requirements

Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
Proficiency in using computer systems to process work notifications (SAP).
Qualification to operate a forklift, aerial boom lift, and scissor lift.
Ability to work on platforms approximately 15 feet above the ground.
Strong electrical engineering background.
Knowledge of and ability to test, troubleshoot, and service all types of electrical equipment, including AC and DC drives, PLCs, and their associated control networks.
Experience testing, maintaining, and calibrating electrical equipment using sound troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work any shift (including nights & weekends).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
2 years of work experience in an electrical/mechanical maintenance setting.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently maintain, repair, and install machinery in the plant.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to prevent/minimize machine downtime.
Conduct basic welding and mechanical repairs.
Perform basic electrical circuit work and installation.
Handle general building maintenance.
Perform basic machine shop work.
Work overtime as needed to support the business.
