About The Position

Seeking a Full-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician for Garden Cove Apartments (200 units) in Huntsville, AL, to start immediately. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for general maintenance at the apartment community, including make readies, turns, and work orders. Excellent customer service experience is required, along with good communication skills and at least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience. Successful candidates will work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times. We encourage employee growth opportunities. The maintenance technician is responsible for improving customer service through the timely completion of service requests, ongoing preventative maintenance, make ready, and projects. Maintenance Technician must have a great attitude, strong work ethic, and can work well with both co-workers and residents in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• HVAC certification for repairs and preventative maintenance
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Appliance Repair
• Carpentry, Painting and Dry Wall Repair
• Variety of other maintenance tasks, including grounds
• At least 1 year apartment maintenance experience
• Excellent customer service experience
• Good communication skills
• Authorized to work in the US
