Maintenance Technician - Olympus Everly
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician works alongside the service and office teams to ensure property facilities and apartment homes meet or exceed maintenance and repair standards. The role performs service requests, preventative maintenance, grounds and common-area upkeep, and emergency maintenance as needed. The technician works closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities and tracks service requests and completed work in software systems. Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or an EPA/HVAC license.
- Availability for emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 9 AM–6 PM; hours may vary slightly.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance requests involving plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
- Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose HVAC units, replace filters, and clean coils.
- Repair and replace furnished kitchen appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, ovens, and microwaves.
- Perform minor to moderate plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations.
- Repair or replace sink, shower, and toilet fixtures.
- Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches.
- Change locks, handle lockouts, and replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems.
- Operate various equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Maintain and organize the maintenance shop and inventory.
- Track service requests and maintenance work performed through software systems.
- Assist with upkeep of grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools.
- Work with the Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
