About The Position

As a member of the engineering team, the Maintenance Technician keeps guest suites and equipment in good working order through routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks. The role requires experience in electrical work, plumbing, painting, drywall repair, and carpentry, as well as basic HVAC knowledge. The technician assists the Chief Engineer and other team members with guest suites, building, and grounds maintenance. The position also provides a safe environment for guests and hotel staff by meeting safety standards, delivers professional and courteous service to guests, assists other departments as needed, and remains knowledgeable about emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides. The schedule is an evening shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with rotating weekends and some flexibility in work hours. Pay is $16.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Experience in electrical work, plumbing, painting, drywall repair, and carpentry.
Basic HVAC knowledge.
Knowledge of emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides.
