Maintenance Technician - All Shifts Available

About The Position

The Maintenance Technician maintains a preventive maintenance program for production equipment and performs standard repairs and maintenance on production and company-owned equipment. The role addresses on-site maintenance issues, completes work orders, obtains materials needed for repairs, and documents equipment requirements and work performed. Equipment may include motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulics, process pumps, boilers, and chillers. The position has all shifts available.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully in accordance with applicable ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including productivity standards.
Ability to use hands and fingers, and to talk, listen, and speak clearly.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compliance with the company’s zero-tolerance drug policy, which prohibits drug and other substance use that may affect employee safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Maintain a preventive maintenance program for production equipment.
Monitor, maintain, and perform standard repairs and maintenance on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulics, process pumps, boilers, and chillers.
Assess and resolve on-site maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on company-owned tools and equipment.
Read, interpret, and implement work orders.
Acquire materials needed to complete repairs and work orders.
Document equipment requirements and maintain records of work performed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
