Day Shift Maintenance Technician
About The Position
HiFyve is hiring for a day shift Maintenance Technician with automation experience in Columbia, MO. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing plant equipment, understanding various systems like PLC, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and process technology. The technician will also diagnose and fix computerized control systems, including HVAC, perform welding and fabrication, and handle general maintenance for the shop and building. Record keeping and inventory management are also part of the responsibilities, along with assisting team members with mechanical repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years experience with industrial networking (e.g., DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet).
- 1-3 years experience with Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi, PLCs, and VFDs.
- 1-3 years experience programming or modifying PLC, HMI, VFD, and Rockwell Automation software.
- 1-3 years experience installing and calibrating sensors and meters (level, temperature, pH, flow).
- Good communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to multitask.
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years experience with fluid processing.
