Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) 2nd Shift - Weekends Required
About The Position
Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Maintenance Technician and help keep our resort running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone skilled in facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple systems. The Maintenance Technician will complete maintenance work orders and service requests across the property, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems, and repair and maintain equipment (heaters, exhaust fans, kitchen equipment, etc.). This role also involves performing light carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed, preparing basic labor and material estimates for maintenance projects, monitoring and maintaining pool systems, including chemical adjustments and filtration, responding to emergency maintenance situations, and assisting with seasonal tasks, including snow removal. The technician will also support team training and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of maintenance or related experience preferred
- Experience in one or more areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
