About The Position
The Bethlehem YMCA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair work, managing maintenance requests, and ensuring the upkeep and care of equipment. The position offers an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand.
Requirements
- 3-5 years prior experience in maintenance and repair work.
- Excellent human relation skills and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
- Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pool Operator certification preferred.
