About The Position
The Maintenance Technician maintains manufacturing equipment in a safe, reliable, and productive operating condition. The role troubleshoots, monitors, adjusts, repairs, installs, and services equipment and machinery throughout the facility. This is a full-time, second-shift position in Roscoe, Illinois, starting at $24 per hour plus a shift premium.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Skills and experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, basic welding, and rigging work.
- Ability to use a programmable logic controller (PLC) for troubleshooting.
- Willingness and ability to learn AAE’s manufacturing processes.
- Ability to lift and move equipment or parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with electrical motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Repair, install, adjust, modify, and service equipment.
- Evaluate equipment reliability and take actions to improve performance.
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other company safety requirements.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Complete work orders safely and perform preventative maintenance.
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
