About The Position
The Maintenance Technician will assist the Manufacturing Engineer in all Excellerate locations with maintenance tasks. The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years maintenance or related experience
- 2 to 3 years metal fabrication experience
- 1 to 2 years welding experience

Responsibilities
- Assist in design, line/cell layout and movement, fabrication, installation of specialized tools, equipment, and material handling devices used for manufacturing.
- Assist cell work teams with work station design, fabrication and implementation of manufacturing processes, and improvements.
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment.
- Assist the Facilities Technician with building repair and upkeep as needed.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineer with design, start-up, and application of equipment and tools.
- Create equipment inspection and repair schedules for preventive maintenance program.
- Train employees on proper and safe use of equipment.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
