About The Position

Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift. Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts. Pay is $23-$26. This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”

Requirements

High School Diploma
2-4 years related experience

Responsibilities

In conjunction with Supervisor, oversees group in ensuring daily work schedule is met and completes related paperwork.
Operates appropriate equipment in performing functions related to specific production area.
May train newer employees.
Assists in setting up work stations.
Follows written or verbal process specifications in completing all assignments.
May recommend modifications to assignments/tasks.
