About The Position

This position is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Candidates must possess strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to use a laptop for PLC diagnostics, troubleshoot down to the board level, and program PLCs. A good understanding of ladder logic and experience with Omron, Mitsubishi, PLC, and touch screens are essential. The role also requires working knowledge of solid state control, power distribution systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and power transmission. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning industrial production equipment, and performing upgrades to support improvements in safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The ability to read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints is also required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years electrical experience in Industrial manufacturing
  • Ability to troubleshoot using laptop to PLC
  • Ability to troubleshoot down to the board level
  • Ability to program a PLC
  • Possess a good understanding of ladder logic
  • Have experience with Omron, Mitsubishi, PLC and touch screens
  • Have working knowledge of solid state control, power distribution systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and power transmission
  • Ability to read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints
  • Ability to operate basic shop tools and equipment
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Related work experience is required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Experience with robotics and digital servo drives

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily instructions and assignments given by Team Leader or Supervisor
  • Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance activity
  • Improve equipment by carrying out corrective maintenance activity
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment using test equipment and/or software provided, and apply knowledge of troubleshooting
  • Work safely - following all safety instructions and standards
  • Communicate all daily activity
  • Inform and update work status
  • Submit all paperwork at end of shift
  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance on industrial production and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning industrial production equipment
  • Perform upgrades to equipment that supports improvements to safety, quality and on-time delivery
