About The Position

Zoetis is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves training in and performing maintenance requiring multiple technical skills, including preventative maintenance, diagnosing problems, ordering parts, and making repairs in a safe and fast-paced manufacturing environment. The technician will have the opportunity to work with equipment in all areas of the site, grow into an expert, and collaborate with motivated colleagues. Responsibilities include performing assigned work in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, and metal fabrication trades, planning and executing PMs, repairs, and updates to equipment, and working cross-functionally with multiple teams to diagnose and correct issues. The role also offers opportunities for skill development through internal training and promotion programs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
A technical aptitude.
Experience in the use of hand and power tools.
Valid driver's license may be required.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in a technical field such as Electro-Mechanical.
Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing.
Experience in capping, filling equipment, bioreactors, packaging equipment.
Mechanical equipment repair experience is desirable.
Previous experience or training in electrical or mechanical trades.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned work in area of responsibility, which could include one or more of the following trades: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, and metal fabrication.
Plan and execute PM's, repairs, and updates to equipment to maintain peak efficiency.
Use data to drive decision making and focus on permanent fixes.
Work cross-functionally with multiple teams to diagnose and correct issues as they arise.
Develop additional skills and grow through internal training and promotion program.
Learn new technologies as the site expands.
