Requirements

Associate’s degree and 2 years of Maintenance experience.
Diaphragms and Gaskets replacement skills
Mechanical Pump Seal Replacement
Autoclave/Glasswasher skills
Maximo Software knowledge
Technical Documentation skills
Lock out/Tag out skills
Knowledgeable of one or more of the following technical areas: Utility Plant Operations/ Maintenance, Process Equipment/ System Maintenance, HVAC Operations/ Maintenance, or Fire System.
Utility Plant Technician Competencies: Central Utility Plant Operational, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
Knowledge of miscellaneous equipment (WFI Still, Clean Steam Generator, Purified Production Units, Water Distribution Systems, Water Softeners, Emergency Power Systems, and UPS).
Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, execute intermediate maintenance activities.
Operate assigned equipment, facility, utility, and HVAC Systems in accordance with established guidelines and operating procedures.
Conduct basic troubleshooting and employ basic predictive technologies to identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions for equipment problems or to diagnose equipment problems.
Execute intermediate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on manufacturing, utility, HVAC, and facility systems.
Operate and monitor assigned plant support and production equipment in accordance with established procedures.
Perform routine inspections, housekeeping activities, and equipment cleaning.
Accurately complete work orders, operational logs, and maintenance documentation.
Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory systems for assigned equipment.
Support start-up and commissioning of new equipment to ensure mechanical design specifications are met.
Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with Operations to minimize production impact.
Perform intermediate troubleshooting on utility, process, and HVAC systems.
Assist in evaluating and improving maintenance procedures and reliability programs.
Develop, revise, and review SOPs, job plans, and work plans as required.
Maintain current cGMP training documentation.
Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Utilize basic predictive maintenance technologies (alignment, vibration, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).
