About The Position

Dominium is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Legacy Commons at Signal Hills, a 247-unit apartment community in West St. Paul, Minnesota. The technician is responsible for the property’s general appearance and maintenance to help provide residents with a positive living experience. The role includes monitoring the property for repairs, completing work requests, performing preventive maintenance, assessing and repairing appliances, preparing vacant units for new residents, and maintaining a safe work environment. Occasional on-call duties may be required; a trip stipend is provided if called back to the site after regular work hours.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and painting.
• A valid driver’s license and insurance may be required.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of previous maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC and EPA experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property for repairs or replacements that may be needed.
• Complete work requests for common areas and apartment units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on the property.
• Assess and repair appliances as needed.
• Help prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Perform occasional on-call duties; a trip stipend is provided if called back to the site after regular work hours.
• Create and maintain a safe work environment.
