About The Position

A Maintenance Technician at D&H Industries repairs and maintains machinery, equipment, building and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including; mechanical repair, plumbing, robotics, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics, fabrication and electrical/electronics repair. All in the effort to increase runtime of the entire facility.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of mechanical repair and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical Knowledge: blueprint reading, welding, torching fabrication, gears, transmissions and belts.
  • Machining knowledge, Basic Fanuc and Mazatrol knowledge, seals and bearings.
  • Shaft alignment, lubrication technology and application, CNC Machining knowledge and overhead cranes.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Ladder Diagrams, electrical components such as relays and limit switches, basic wiring, motors, drives, and power supplies.
  • Electrical troubleshooting techniques and power distribution.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Troubleshooting and component knowledge: blueprint reading, valves and pumps, cylinders and seals.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate as part of the maintenance team in the efforts to increase runtime of the entire facility.
  • Perform maintenance on the buildings, facilities including restrooms, and the grounds.
  • Support day to day production requirements to maintain machinery running and producing parts in constant supply.
  • Work Order execution and root cause analysis.
  • Equipment improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and repair: mechanical (plant/facilities, welding/fabrication, general machines), electrical/electronic (machine controls, plant power, pulling wire, bending conduit), pneumatic and hydraulic systems (troubleshoot and diagnose), robotics (welding, pick and place handling, set up & troubleshoot) on all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Perform forklift mechanics and safety.
  • Perform and/or assist with weekly/monthly/annual preventative maintenance tasks.
