About The Position

MacLean Power Systems (MPS) is seeking Off-Shift Maintenance Technicians to join their team. This is a full-time position with shifts available on the 2nd (2 pm to 10 pm) and 3rd (10 pm to 6 am). MPS offers a transparent pay structure with a base entry rate of $26.49 per hour, with a skill-based range up to $38.41 per hour, plus a $1.25 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting pay is determined by current skill level and experience with mechanical and electrical systems.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
Experience with motor control circuits.
Familiarity with high voltages (3-phase).
Ability to work second shift, third shift, and overtime as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of PLCs.
Experience in high-speed manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repair of foundry and machine shop equipment.
Change parts, keep machines in working order, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Perform welding and fabrication.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Read blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
Diagnose complex malfunctions.
Troubleshoot ladder logic/PLCs.
Handle high-voltage/3-phase power.
Utilize the CMMS system for documentation and work through tasks with minimal supervision.
