About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will partner with the Maintenance Director in creating a safe and vibrant living environment for our residents. Your expertise will make a tangible difference as you focus on facility management, skilled maintenance solutions, equipment troubleshooting, expense control, preventive care, record keeping, resident-centric service, and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in an apartment or multifamily environment.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to act quickly and remain composed in emergencies.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily walkthroughs, identifying and promptly addressing malfunctions for repair.
  • Provide skilled attention to maintenance problems and assigned service requests, ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Showcase your ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Director in managing parts expenses and reviewing costs before purchases.
  • Assist in coordinating preventative maintenance, adhering to specific schedules and protocols.
  • Maintain essential records, data, and paperwork with precision.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and responsiveness.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and use chemicals safely.
