About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at Timber Hollow Apartments performs property and grounds maintenance, including repairs involving plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry. The role requires communicating with customers, completing Company paperwork, and interpreting safety and operating manuals and procedures. The technician works standard community hours, including evenings and weekends, and provides on-call, after-hours emergency service with support from the Service Manager while following Company standards.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Ability to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Ability to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push, and pull; navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends, and provide on-call, after-hours emergency service.
• Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

• EPA certification Type II or Universal.
• Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
• CPO certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform property and grounds repairs, including plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry related to household, building, and property grounds maintenance.
• Communicate with customers and process Company paperwork.
• Interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Serve as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with support from the Service Manager, following Company standards.
