About The Position

Techmer PM is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Clinton, Tennessee facility. The role performs work necessary to provide world-class equipment reliability safely and cost-effectively. The technician performs daily preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and up to date. The position works the weekend night shift from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Friday through Sunday, with a starting rate of $25 per hour and an additional $3 shift differential; starting rate may be higher depending on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Five years of maintenance experience.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480-volt, low-voltage, and control-circuit experience.
Ability to learn plant equipment functionality.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and plumbing.
Ability to use power and hand tools properly.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to thoroughly troubleshoot machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
Ability to lift 55 pounds.

Technical school or apprenticeship in a skilled trade.

Responsibilities

Perform duties that support safe, cost-effective equipment reliability.
