About The Position
Bozzuto is hiring Maintenance Technicians in Greater Boston. The role focuses on maintaining residences and common areas, resolving service requests, preparing vacant apartments for move-in, and providing outstanding customer service to residents. Technicians address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair needs, perform general upkeep and cleanliness, and support snow removal and grounds maintenance. The position requires availability for weekends or evenings and participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. The stated salary range is $52,000–$55,000 USD, with eligibility for additional bonus opportunities. Candidates are invited to an in-person hiring event on Tuesday, November 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST; qualified candidates may receive offers within 48 hours of the event.
Requirements
- Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades.
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
- Availability for property emergencies, including an on-call rotation.
- Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
- Personal, reliable transportation to commute to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional appearance.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using software, apps, and computer programs.
- Service mentality and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Resolve resident service tickets and perform preventative maintenance.
- Address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair issues.
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
- Maintain building appearance and community safety through general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
- Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
- Work weekends or evenings and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
