About The Position

Sandhurst Apartment Management is hiring a maintenance technician to work at one of its apartment communities. The technician interacts directly with residents and vendors as an on-site representative and performs maintenance, service, and community-improvement work while supporting resident satisfaction and the community’s budget plan. The role requires following safety procedures and company policies, preparing apartments for move-in, and being available to work weekends, after hours, and/or holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
HVAC certification.
CPO certification.
Effective verbal communication skills.
General knowledge of maintenance repair and service.
One year of maintenance experience; apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to work weekends, after hours, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow company and community safety procedures, including keeping work areas clean and protected.
Uphold company policies, goals, and values.
Perform on-site maintenance functions.
Assist the supervisor in completing assigned maintenance tasks promptly.
Prepare available apartments for move-in.
Report maintenance problems to the supervisor.
Participate in ongoing community maintenance and improvement plans.
Maintain the physical condition of the community.
Follow up on service requests to support high-quality customer satisfaction.
Help achieve the community’s annual budget plan by controlling expenses.
Perform other maintenance technician responsibilities as directed.
