Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

About The Position
The Maintenance Technician will ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance, repairs and continuous improvement. The 2nd Shift hours are Monday to Thursday, 4pm-2am and will later transition to Monday to Friday, 2pm-10pm.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Ability to pass Electrical fundamentals required.
Responsibilities
- Working with PLCs, HMIs, safety controllers, etc. to improve overall plant automation efforts.
- Performing general maintenance of all equipment.
- Assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements.
- Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers.
- Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions.
- Must be able to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
- Must know how to properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM).
- Continually coordinate equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed.
- Attend outside training and seminars for continual education.
