Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Over 3 years and up to 5 years in machinery repair experience.
  • Understanding of various machines.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, interpret schematics and interpret data provided by machine diagnosis.
  • Some factory schooling if available on various pieces of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment repair on all equipment in a timely manner when required.
  • Schedule machine downtime with the Production Manager to limit non-productive time.
  • Obtain technical support as required to assist in the performance of assigned functions.
  • Request the purchase of repair materials in an expeditious manner to ensure limited downtime on equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure peak performance of equipment.
  • Maintain detailed repair history on each piece of equipment.
  • Ensure adequate inventory of repair items is maintained.
  • Proper handling of all material, parts, and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.
  • Must be willing to work throughout production and perform all other related duties as required.
  • For proper dismantling and rework of all equipment and components.
  • Proper utilization of EPTAM’s lockout/tagout program.
  • Ensure equipment is in proper working order before releasing back to production.
