About The Position

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, facility systems, and support infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. This role performs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, electrical, and general facility maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and production performance. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a medium and/or heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding technical documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and in-process documents.
  • Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical circuitry.
  • Minimum welding, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance systems.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Ability to certify color vision per electrical specifications.
  • Self-motivated with strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Lean Manufacturing or TPM experience.
  • Experience supporting facility infrastructure and building systems.
  • Aerospace, foundry, or industrial manufacturing experience.
  • Technical certifications in maintenance, electrical, or related trades.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment and facility systems.
  • Establish and follow PM schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, flow diagrams, and one-line drawings to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Apply maintenance-related mathematical formulas to solve for area, volume, amperes, ohms, watts, and other calculations.
  • Perform facility repairs including drywall, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and irrigation system maintenance.
  • Regularly inspect assigned equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Document maintenance actions, irregularities, and improvement opportunities and communicate with team members.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
  • Perform additional facility maintenance tasks as needed.
