About The Position

Pegasus Residential is seeking a Maintenance Expert to join their team at Longshore Commons. This role involves working closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards. Key responsibilities include responding to resident maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs within established quality and time standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, a team player, and passionate about exceeding expectations.

Requirements

1-3 years maintenance experience required (apartment maintenance experience preferred)
At least a high school education or equivalent certification.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Refrigeration certification (type 2 or universal) or obtain in the first 90 days of employment
Valid driver’s license (free from major moving violations) and dependable transportation

Nice To Haves

Expertise in HVAC, carpentry, dry wall, appliances, plumbing, and electrical repair
Budget or basic business finance skills helpful
CPO Certification (if required in the state and location applied)

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to complete tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards.
Respond quickly and courteously to resident requests for maintenance service.
Troubleshoot the source of difficulties.
Take appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within quality and time standards.
Work closely with the team to enhance individual performance.
Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
