About The Position

Quality Consulting Group is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to support facilities and manufacturing operations in Puerto Rico and the United States. The role involves maintaining the warehouse, facilities, surrounding areas, machinery, and building systems; performing and supporting preventive maintenance; and assisting with equipment installations, fabrication, and facility upgrades. The technician may coordinate with internal resources and local vendors and will maintain repair and preventive-maintenance records while helping ensure cleanliness and safe operation.

Requirements

Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Mechanical studies.
Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of production agriculture and production plant operations.
Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings.
Reliable transportation to the site and ability to arrive at the work site as instructed.

Responsibilities

Carry out work in green areas.
Assist with maintenance of the warehouse, facilities, and surrounding areas.
Plan, execute, or oversee wiring and general maintenance projects.
Plan or assist with planning preventive-maintenance programs.
Set machinery and equipment appropriately to minimize loss.
Conduct preventive maintenance to eliminate hazards and prevent damage.
Repair, replace, reassemble, adjust, and test equipment as needed.
Participate in equipment installation, fabrication, and facilities expansion or upgrade projects.
Assist with pulling wires and other electrical projects as needed.
Maintain heating and cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, wiring, and other systems as needed.
Operate and maintain hand and precision tools.
Order repair parts and supplies as needed.
Identify and coordinate internal resources and/or local vendors.
Perform miscellaneous repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and locksmith work.
Complete and maintain repair records and reports.
Maintain cleanliness.
Complete and maintain preventive-maintenance records and reports.
Maintain systems to eliminate hazards and prevent equipment damage.
