Facilities Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Europa Village is a Wine Country destination offering an Old World European experience, with a tasting room, restaurant, and guest rooms. The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance and general repairs across hotel rooms, tasting rooms, the restaurant, kitchen, and grounds. The role requires broad maintenance knowledge, including plumbing, electrical work, and construction repairs, along with problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. The position reports to the Facilities Supervisor. The technician helps keep facilities safe, clean, and consistently maintained; responds to emergencies and follows safety protocols; inspects equipment and reports hazards or repair needs; and maintains supplies, purchase records, and activity logs. The role also includes groundskeeping and moving, assembling, installing, and repairing furniture, appliances, and other equipment. The technician is expected to support colleagues and guests, uphold Europa Village policies and service standards, and be available to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and remain on their feet for extended periods.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance for hotel rooms, tasting rooms, the restaurant, and kitchen.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, construction, and general repairs, including drywall, painting, and door repairs.
- Complete groundskeeping tasks such as weeding, planting, and mowing.
- Keep facilities safe, clean, and consistently maintained.
- Replace light bulbs, change filters, and perform other maintenance tasks.
- Assemble, repair, install, maintain, and move furniture, appliances, and other equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocols.
- Inspect equipment and machines and identify items needing repair.
- Identify and report hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to the manager.
- Follow safe work practices and use required safety equipment.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain purchase records according to budget.
- Maintain records and logs of daily activities.
- Help fellow employees and guests, communicate Europa Village’s story, and treat associates and guests respectfully.
- Maintain appropriate personal presentation and uniform standards, punctuality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Perform other assigned duties.
