About The Position

RAM Partners, LLC is a full-service real estate management company managing more than 80,000 apartments across the United States, specializing in multifamily community management for third-party owners. Vintage 1959 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to use maintenance experience and attention to detail to maintain the physical integrity of the property. Compensation is $25 to $26 per hour. The position includes completing work orders and make-readies, maintaining grounds and common areas, performing preventative maintenance, and helping cover emergency calls. The technician is expected to provide professional customer service, follow safety procedures, and maintain organized work areas. The schedule is flexible and includes rotating on-call nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and rotating on-call nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• EPA HVAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Complete make-readies.
• Maintain property grounds and common areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized shop and other work areas.
• Provide a weekly list of needed parts and materials.
• Assist in coverage of emergency calls with other team members.
• Treat residents, staff, and vendors professionally, demonstrating customer service skills.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
