About The Position
LBA Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Technician to assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep so the hotel remains safe, functional, and well maintained. The role also involves providing friendly, professional guest service. This is an on-site hotel position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices.
- Dependable, service-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must meet company security clearance requirements.
- Must be able to push or pull up to 100 lbs. and lift or carry up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, reach, climb ladders, crawl, and kneel.
- May work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
- Must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
- Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
- Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
- Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
- Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
- Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
- Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
- Perform other duties as needed.
