About The Position

Responsible for the general maintenance; hydraulic and electronic systems while ensuring maximum production quality and quantity while promoting safety throughout the maintenance department.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or knowledge equivalent too.
  • Must have 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Thorough knowledge of world-class maintenance management systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, etc.
  • Demonstrates required skills; adapts to new technologies; troubleshoots technological problems; uses technology to increase productivity; keeps technical skills up to date.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and customers.
  • Ability to plan work on a daily schedule, work independently and be a highly motivated individual.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and apply those concepts to practical situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform this job successfully, an individual should have a high proficiency of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reducing downtime and increase efficiencies when completing repairs and maintenance equipment.
  • Works toward accomplishing objectives regarding production, technology, and resource needs.
  • Complete all assigned installs, test, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
  • Assist with strategies to reduce mechanical downtime and keep product flow and production.
  • Participate in all maintenance training to keep up with the most updated version of operating procedures.
  • Assist when possible with the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime and anticipate problems to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Complete maintenance KPIs such as asset utilization, maintenance cost PM, and are finalized as scheduled.
  • Follows all safety, health, and environmental policies while maintenance equipment. Any other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
