About The Position

ADM is hiring immediately for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic in Cleveland, TN. This role is crucial for maintaining our facility and ensuring operational success. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and contributing to a world-class work environment. Requirements

  • Require excellent command of the following: leadership, problem solving, self-motivation and organizational skills
  • Must have confident and courteous manner
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly, read, comprehend and communicate orally and in writing
  • Position requires standing and walking for long periods, climbing stairs and ladders, working with tools, working within close-confined spaces, and working in extreme temperatures
  • Must be willing to participate in team on-call rotation schedule
  • Basic knowledge of machine mechanical systems acquired through training or experience
  • Experience with or willingness to learn forklift and scissors lift operations
  • Basic electrical skills are a plus

  • Experience with V-belt and Chain drive systems
  • Machine troubleshooting and repair skills

Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining machinery and equipment
  • Operating hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools
  • Troubleshooting mechanical failures and pneumatic systems
  • Repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining mechanical drive systems
  • Installing material systems
  • Facilitating and ensuring adherence to safety regulations, rules and sound practices
  • Coordinating and participating in audits, prioritizing and tracking completion of findings
  • Ensuring that unsafe behavior and conditions are corrected
  • Performing Safety audits and setting the example for safety
  • Ensuring the facility maintains world-class sanitation standards
  • Preparing the facility for, and participating in, regulatory/third party/customer/company audits
