About The Position

The Maintenance Tech. I is responsible for operating department equipment and performing general maintenance of the facility and equipment. Duties are performed in accordance with applicable standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors of all ages. The role also includes security responsibilities when a security officer is absent and other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a full-time role at PAM Health Dallas’s new rehabilitation hospital.

Requirements

One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
General maintenance background experience is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Electrical maintenance license preferred; training may be provided.
Hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate department equipment.
Perform general maintenance of the facility and equipment.
Help maintain a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors of all ages in accordance with applicable standards.
Perform security responsibilities in the absence of a security officer.
Complete other related duties as assigned or requested.
