About The Position

The Maintenance Technician works across all aspects of Tropicana's internal Maintenance Service Company functions, supporting other Maintenance Teams and the Maintenance Regional Manager. The role helps ensure properties remain presentable, safe, sanitary, and in sound condition. The technician needs to be reliable, detail-oriented, technologically capable, and able to apply a range of maintenance skills, including carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC, and electrical work. The position also involves using Excel, Word, data-entry tools, mobile applications, and the internet to order materials and supplies. Pay is up to $25 per hour, depending on verifiable experience.

Requirements

• Three years of proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role within a similar environment or field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and appliance repair.
• Knowledge of evaporative coolers; HVAC experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, mobile applications, data entry, and internet use.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma.
• Valid and current driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Nice To Haves

• A degree or coursework from a vocational school.
• HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Support other Maintenance Teams and the Maintenance Regional Manager across the Maintenance Service Company's functions.
