About The Position

We are seeking two qualified Level 2 Maintenance Technicians for our community, Miami Heights Mobile Home Park. This role is crucial for maintaining the properties and enriching the lives of residents and team members. The position offers a steady, reliable schedule with full-time hours (40 hours per week). Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in general labor including groundskeeping, landscaping, and property management maintenance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing.
  • Ability to be very active, including walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions.
  • Willingness to use and learn technology in a basic capacity.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver's license.
  • Specific maintenance knowledge/skills will be tested for accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, and diagnosing and repairing simple water leaks.
  • Conduct electrical work including installing light fixtures, GFCI's, understanding lightbulb wattage, breakers and fuses, and replacing outlets.
  • Oversee the curb appeal of the community to ensure it meets Riverstone Communities' standards, which includes picking up trash and performing groundskeeping duties like lawn mowing, planting flowers, and weeding/weed eating.
  • Complete cleanouts of homes.
  • Finish work orders efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Read water meters for each home.
  • Complete day-to-day duties with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to all safety laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies.
  • Take online/virtual training classes via a computer or tablet.
  • Perform other duties as qualified and trained to do so.
