About The Position

Cedar Community is looking for a skilled trades professional to join their team as a Maintenance Technician specializing in Construction & Remodeling. This role involves renovating, repairing, and enhancing apartments, homes, and other spaces within the community. Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in construction, remodeling, carpentry, or a related skilled trade preferred.
  • Working knowledge of carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, and general construction.
  • Experience installing windows, doors, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, trim, and hardware preferred.
  • Ability to complete basic plumbing repairs.
  • Comfortable safely using common construction tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform demolition and renovate vacant apartments, homes, and other spaces throughout Cedar Community.
  • Complete framing, carpentry, drywall, painting, trim work, and other general construction projects.
  • Install and replace windows, doors, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, hardware, and other finishes.
  • Complete basic plumbing repairs and other maintenance needs related to renovation projects.
  • Follow safety procedures while delivering quality craftsmanship and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
