About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for applying preventative maintenance on repair shop equipment, researching and developing repair equipment and techniques, and maintaining company policies regarding the efficient use of materials and equipment to avoid waste. This role will also assist in maintaining adequate equipment and supplies/materials, develop, install, and review repair policies and procedures, and collaborate with intercompany resources to obtain training as needed. The technician will order, maintain, and monitor consumables and equipment used by field crews within established budgets, monitor and maintain company-owned vehicles, and act as a problem solver and troubleshooter for the departments. The position requires internal and external cooperation, supporting management in skill development for field supervisors and personnel, demonstrating desirable personal character, commitment, organizational skills, work habits, and the ability to interact and cooperate professionally with all employees. Open communication with the Repair Division Manager, Director Repair Services, Estimators, field supervisors, and field personnel is essential.

Requirements
