About The Position

Home Run Inn Pizza is looking for a reliable and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Food Production Plant on 2nd Shift! The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair to minimize downtime. Providing a safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude required in addition to at least 5 years of related maintenance experience.
  • 2-3 years in trouble shooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, twist and stoop.
  • Ability to use various maintenance tools and personal computer.
  • Ability to work all shifts as needed and be on-call for emergencies.
  • Ability to work in a production environment. This job has exposure to ambient/refrigerator/freezer
  • Ability to read & draw schematics.
  • High level of electrical understanding (high & low voltage).
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift, and 1st shift on Sundays.

Nice To Haves

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls, and power transmission systems
  • PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.
  • Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Working knowledge of power transmission equipment and bearings
  • Familiar with pumps, both air and electric
  • Able to install and trouble shoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits
  • Some knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components.
  • Utilize electrical/mechanical skills to maintain machinery.
  • Contribute to a collaborative safety culture that drives results.
  • Provide rapid response to ensure seamless productivity
  • Set-up production equipment necessary for the specific days’ activity. Assist with shutdowns as well.
  • Disassemble equipment, rebuild, and replace defective parts and components as needed and reassemble to make final equipment adjustments
