About The Position

This role is for a Maintenance Technician with Mechanical experience, specifically in Hydraulic and Industrial Electrical systems. The technician will be responsible for performing work safely and in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards. Key functions include troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance (PMs) without supervision, and communicating effectively with upper management. Proficiency with all measuring and hand tools is required, as is the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and hard copy PLC programs. The role also demands the skills to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot equipment, follow directions from supervisors, and possess basic computer skills.

  • Awareness of all Emergency Exits and knowledge of procedures for Emergency Evacuation.
  • Knowledge of the location of SDS Safety Data Sheets and how to utilize properly.
  • Understanding of the need for proper training and authorization before operating equipment or performing work.
  • Adherence to proper LOTO (lock out/tag out) procedures.
  • Understanding of the importance of not removing or bypassing machine guards.
  • Caution and awareness of lift trucks and moving equipment.
  • Prompt reporting of all injuries or accidents.
  • Understanding and following plant housekeeping guidelines.
  • Ability to identify and implement lean and continuous improvement actions.

  • Executing, promoting, and working safely throughout the facility following all Safety Policies.
  • Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Being aware of all Emergency Exits and knowing procedures for Emergency Evacuation as well as location.
  • Knowing the location of the SDS Safety Data Sheets and how to utilize properly.
  • Not operating any equipment or performing any work without the proper training and authorization to do complete the task safely.
  • Always following proper LOTO (lock out/tag out) procedures.
  • Never removing or bypassing machine guards, especially while the machine is in operation.
  • Being cautious and aware of lift trucks and moving equipment.
  • Reporting all injuries or accidents to the Department Lead or Manager immediately.
  • Understanding and following plant housekeeping guidelines.
  • Identifying and implementing lean and continuous improvement actions.
